2005–06 Scottish League Cup
The Scottish League Cup was played for the 60th time in 2005 /06. The Scottish League Cup, which was officially discharged as CIS Insurance League Cup began on 9 August 2005 and ended with the final on 19 March 2006. Competition on the clubs in the Scottish Football League and Scottish Premier League participated. If a duel is not decided after 90 minutes plus extension, it came to the penalty shootout. The title of Celtic secured in the final against Dunfermline Athletic.
