2008 Masters (snooker)

The SAGA Insurance Masters 2008 was a snooker tournament, which was held in London from 13 to 20 January 2008.

On the play, it was traditionally among the best 16 players of the Snooker world rankings. In addition, among the lower seeded players a qualifying tournament, the Masters Qualifying event, which was won by Barry Hawkins. Marco Fu also received a wild card, so a total of 18 participants took part.

In the final, it came to a duel of the two Englishmen Mark Selby and Stephen Lee. Selby could clearly prevail with 10:3 and thus won his first Masters title.
