2000 Masters (snooker)

The Benson & Hedges Masters 2000 was a snooker invitation tournament of the season 1999/2000, which was held in London from 7th to February 14th, 2000 at the Wembley Conference Centre. It was the 26th edition of the Masters.

Matthew Stevens won the final against the finalists of the previous year, Ken Doherty 10:8. It was Stevens first Masters Tournament victory. Ken Doherty was playing in the 15th frame of the Finals are on the way to the 36th official maximum break, but failed at the last black. With 140 points, this was the highest break of the tournament.

In the Wildcard round Ali Carter won 6-5 against Steve Davis. Jimmy White defeated Marco Fu 6-3.
