1997 Masters (snooker)

The Benson & Hedges Masters in 1997 was a snooker invitation tournament of the season 1996/97, which was held in London from 2 to 9 February 1997 at the Wembley Conference Centre. It was the 23rd edition of the Masters.

In the final, won against Steve Davis, Ronnie O'Sullivan 10:8. For Davis, it was the third Masters title after 1982 and 1988. O'Sullivan was the third time in a row in the final of the Masters.

In the wild card round Brian Morgan won, which was qualified by winning the Benson & Hedges Championship, against Tony Drago. Mark Williams defeated Paul Hunter.
