1984 Masters (snooker)

The Benson & Hedges Masters in 1984 was a snooker invitation tournament of the season 1983/84, which was held in London from 22 to 29 January 1984 at the Wembley Conference Centre. It was the tenth edition of the Masters. The prize money has been increased from £ 55,000 to £ 115,000.

Defending champion Cliff Thorburn already retired from the first knockout round against John Spencer. Kirk Stevens played in his semi-final against eventual winners Jimmy White the third official maximum break. Jimmy White was finally defeated 9-5 in the final of Terry Griffiths and thus won the £ 35,000 prize money winner.
