2009 Masters (snooker)

The 2009 Masters was a snooker tournament, which was held in London from 11 to 18 January 2009.

On the play, it was traditionally among the top 16 players of the Snooker world rankings. Among the lower ranked players there was also a qualifying tournament, the Masters Qualifying event, which was won by Judd Trump. Ricky Walden also received a wild card, so a total of 18 participants took part.

In the finals it came to the meeting last year's winner Mark Selby with the multiple world champion Ronnie O'Sullivan, who won the playoff with 10:8.
