2013 Monte Carlo Rally

The 81st Monte Carlo Rally took place from 15th to 20th January 2013. Overall, 18 special stages were run on asphalt and partly on snow and ice. Since 2000, it has not snowed so much as this year. The drivers and teams were required. Sébastien Loeb and Daniel Elena have already won the rally six times. Volkswagen debuted in Monte Carlo and drove straight to the podium, Sébastien Ogier was number 2 behind Loeb. The Monte Carlo Rally was 40 years ago, in 1973, the first World Rally Championship course of history.

Day 1 ( Wednesday, January 16 )

Day 4 (Saturday, 19 January)

In his farewell year Sébastien Loeb wins Monte Carlo Rally with a lead of 1:39 minutes on the Volkswagen driver Sébastien Ogier. In the afternoon, the Col de Turini special stage was on the program. Rain fell on the snow and made ​​the road almost impassable. The 3rd place Evgeny Novikov lies, and Jari- Matti Latvala and Juho Hänninen had an accident and had to give up the rally. Ceremony ( Sunday, January 20 )

The traditional ceremony took place at 11 clock in Monaco held at the Place du Palais with Sébastien Loeb and co-driver Daniel Elena at the top of the podium, Sébastien Ogier and Julien Ingrassia, and third place Dani Sordo and Carlos Del Barrio.
