8th Screen Actors Guild Awards

The eighth award of the U.S. Screen Actors Guild Awards, the Screen Actors Guild in the areas of film (5 categories) and television awards (8 categories) each year, was held at the Los Angeles Shrine Exposition Center on 9 March 2002. The so-called SAG Awards honor, in contrast for example to the Golden Globe, a film, television and ensemble actor and considered as an indicator for the upcoming Academy Awards.
