Angola national football team
The Angolan national football team, also known as Palancas Negras ( Black Antelopes ), is the selection of Federação Angolana de Futebol. My biggest success was the participation in the World Cup 2006.
World Cup 2006
Angola for the first time managed to qualify for the 2006 World Cup in Germany. The following games had the Angolan team (group D) deny:
- On June 11, 2006 in Cologne against Portugal; traveled to 150 fans in the original Weltmeisterzug 1954 Vt 08;
- On June 16, 2006 in Hanover against Mexico and
- On June 21, 2006 in Leipzig against Iran.
For the duration of his participation in the tournament, the team took lodgings in Celle.

So far, there were three games against Portugal, the former colonial power. This could come up both with many goals against as well as inglorious highlights.
Went the game on February 23, 1989 75-year anniversary in Lisbon with the Portuguese Association of 0:6, the highest ever Angolan defeat, proved to be the second meeting in 2001 as even more embarrassing.
