Athletics at the 2012 Summer Olympics – Men's 5000 metres
The 5000 -meter run of the men at the 2012 Olympics in London was held on 8 and 11 August 2012 at the London Olympic Stadium. 43 athletes took part.
There were two heats. It qualified the first five and the five time fastest athletes for the finals.
The directly qualified runners are light blue, highlighted the over time qualified athletes bright green.
