Bácovice

Bácovice ( German Batschowitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located seven kilometers north-west of Pelhřimov and belongs to Okres Pelhřimov.

Geography

Bácovice is on the left side of the Hejlovka valley in the Bohemian- Moravian Highlands. East of the village leads state road 112 from Pelhřimov after Vlašim over.

Neighboring towns are Cervena Řečice in the north, Zmišovice in the northeast, Těchoraz in the east, in the southeast Hodějovice, Čakovice and Lipice the south, Bitětice the southwest, Milotičky in the west and Rovná in the northwest.

History

The first mention of Bácovice as part of the Archdiocese of Prague associated rule Řečice place in the year 1379th In the division of power in 1545 Bácovice came to power Pelhřimov. Owners were the Lords of Říčany. After the rescue of the city Pelhřimov the village was owned urban from 1572 and 1577 the city was attributed to hereditary. After the abolition of patrimonial Bácovice was a separate municipality, were among the districts Mašovice and Milotičky to the to 1869. These formed after also own communities, to Mašovice 1920 as the hamlet of Milotičky.

In 1960, the municipality was incorporated into Milotičky Bácovice. 1975 Bácovice lost its independence and became a district of Cervena Řečice. Since 1992 it is a municipality again.
