Benasque

Benasque ( in the local dialect Patués: Benás ) is a municipality in the province of Huesca, in the autonomous community of Aragon, Spain. It belongs to the jurisdiction of the district and Boltaña Ribagorza. Benasque has 2195 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013).

Geography

Benasque is located in the Pyrenees in the north- east of the province of Huesca, about 140 km from the capital city of Huesca. The river Ésera flows through the village.
