Billy Lee Evans
Billy Evans attended the public schools of his home and studied until 1963 at the University of Georgia in Athens. After a subsequent law degree from the same university and its made in 1965 admitted to the bar he began in Macon to work in his new profession. At the same time he proposed as a member of the Democratic Party launched a political career.
Between 1969 and 1976 he sat as an MP in the House of Representatives of Georgia. In the congressional elections of 1976 he was in the eighth constituency of Georgia in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington, DC chosen, where he became the successor of WS Stuckey on January 3, 1977. After two re- election he was able to complete in Congress until January 3, 1983 three legislative periods. For the elections of 1982 he was not nominated by his party. After his retirement from the U.S. House of Representatives Evans was vice president of a consulting firm. He is also a board member of the American Freedom Coalition. Billy Evans lives privately in Vienna ( Virginia).
