Blake Griffin

Blake Austin Griffin ( born March 16, 1989 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma ) is an American professional basketball player. He was elected at the 1st digit of the Los Angeles Clippers in NBA Draft 2009. Before that he played in the NCAA for the Oklahoma Sooners. He was elected to several sport magazines Player of the Year of the College 2008/09 season.

High School

Griffin attended Oklahoma Christian High School, where his father was his coach at the same time. He led the school to four state championships. In the season 2004/ 05 he was appointed to the "Little All-City All-State " team. He scored 13.6 points on average. His brother Taylor was chosen by the magazine The Oklahoman Player of the Year.

As a junior in the season 2005/ 06 The Oklahoman Blake Griffin then crowned Player of the Year. He completed 26 games and contributed an average of 21.7 points, 12.5 rebounds and 4.9 assists at. He also had 45 steals and 49 blocks. He was appointed to the Tulsa World All-State First Team male.

Furthermore, he was chosen by Gatorade Player of the Year in Oklahoma, called to the McDonald 's All American Team in 2007 and elected team in the Jordan All-American. University of Oklahoma (2007-2009)
