Bohuňov (Žďár nad Sázavou District)

Bohuňov ( German Bohuniow, also Bohunow ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located six kilometers north-west of Bystřice nad Perštejnem and belongs to Okres Zdar nad Sázavou.

Geography

Bohuňov is located in the southeast of the Saarer mountains. The village is located on the left side of the Bystřice at the inflow Bohunovsky creek. To the north rises the Pletenice ( 734 m), to the east of the Krib (704 m) and northwest of the Kopec ( 645 m). West of Bohuňov is the Skalský rybnik ( Skallateich ), in the south of Domanínský rybnik ( Big Domaniner pond).

Neighboring towns are Lísek and Velké Janovice in the north, Janovičky in the east, and Ždánice Domanín to the southeast, and Rozsochy Kundratice in the south, Rovné the southwest, Skalský Dvůr and Vojtěchov in the west and Lhota in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of the village took place in 1384. Owners of Bohuňov were in the 15th century, the lords of Pernštejna and the village became part of the dominion Bystřice nad Pernštejnem. Bohuňov was the seat of a judge. In the second half of the 17th century, the cultivation of flax began. The gentlemen Mitrovský of Nemyšl acquired in the first half of the 18th century The Bystřice rule along with the castle and the Pernsteins Dolni Rožínka castle.

After the abolition of patrimonial Bohuňov formed in 1850 a municipality in the district Nove Mesto. 1908, a new school building was inaugurated. In 1949 the congregation to Okres Bystřice nad Pernštejnem. In 1950, the road was built by Domanín. In 1961, the incorporation of Janovičky and the community came to Okres Zdar nad Sázavou. Bohuňov and Janovičky belonged from 1979 to 1990 than districts to Lísek. Since 2000, the municipality performs a banner and coat of arms. In the latter, the hl. Barbara presented.

At the beginning of 2008, the district Bohuňov 194 and Janovičky had 48 inhabitants.

The municipality consists of the villages Bohuňov Bohuňov ( Bohuniow ) and Janovičky (small Janowitz ).
