Skorotice

Skorotice ( German Skorotitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located 13 kilometers north of Tišnov and belongs to Okres Zdar nad Sázavou.

Geography

Skorotice is on the left of the Svratka in the valley of the brook Skorotický creek in the Bohemian- Moravian Highlands. The village is situated in the mountains of Nedvědička Highlands and part of the Natural Park Svratecká hornatina. To the west stretches the nature reserve " Nad Horou ". The valley of the creek east of Chlébské Chlébský is also protected as a nature reserve " Údolí Chlébského potoka ". North-east rises the rock group Hrádky ( 627 m ) in the east of Bukový vrch ( 699 m) and in the southeastern Sýkoř (702 m).

Neighboring towns are Dolni Čepí and Chlébské in the north, Černovice in the northeast, and Brumov Osiky in the east, Louka and Kopaniny in the southeast, Křížovice in the south, Černvír the southwest, Nedvědice in the west and Kovářová and Bořinov in the northwest.

History

The village was first mentioned in writing in 1309 with the signing of a document of the monastery Porta Coeli by Jan von Skorotice. The village belonged to the Hussite Wars to the goods of the monastery Doubravník. 1436 was asked to surrender the unlawfully appropriated property Janek Černý of Byšovec. The following year, Katerina was called by Janovice as the owner, her husband Jíra of Bezděkov bought nor the villages Dolni Čepí and Ujčov added and united the goods. Kateřina managed after the death of her husband's property jointly with her son Martin of Dalečín. 1492 sold these five economies in Skorotice to Jan Romichar of Ujčov, which she left in 1496 to William II of Pernštejna. 1582 are reported in the land register of the rule Pernsteins for Skorotice nine property. 1793 lived 123 people in the 15 houses of the village. In 1839 Skorotice consisted of 19 houses and 132 inhabitants had.

After the abolition of patrimonial Skorotice formed in 1850 a municipality in the district of Brno. 1897 she came to the district Tišnov. Skorotice consisted in 1900 of 26 houses and 169 inhabitants. 1947, the community was the Okres Bystřice assigned nad Perštejnem. 1961 Chlébské was incorporated and the town came to Okres Zdar nad Sázavou. Since 13 November 2008, the village will perform an emblem and banner.

The municipality consists of the villages Skorotice Chlébské ( Chliwsky ) and Skorotice ( Skorotitz ) and the settlement Louka.
