The Bolsas y Mercados Españoles ( BME) is a Spanish stock exchange, which resulted from the merger of the stock exchanges of Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia and Bilbao and MF Mercados Financieros and Iberclear in 2002.

Background

Through its subsidiary acts IBERCLEAR the BME also as a clearinghouse and offers services in the field of clearing, settlement and custody.
