Březejc

Březejc ( German Brzezeytz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located six kilometers east of Velké Meziříčí and belongs to Okres Zdar nad Sázavou.

Geography

Březejc located in the belonging to the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands Highlands Křižanovská ( Krischanauer Bergland ) in the source basin of the creek Podhoří. To the north rises the Bítýška. To the east on the road to Ronov be around the forester's house Chlostov the three ponds Velky Chlostov, Maly Chlostov and Chlostůvek. To the south, the hora ( 610 m) and Strážnice rise (610 m ), northwest of the Ambrožný (640 m). In the southwest of the D1 motorway passes.

Neighboring towns are Sviny and Křižanov in the north, Kadolec in the northeast, and Ronov Tři Dvory in the east, in the southeast Ruda, Jabloňov in the south, Petráveč the southwest, Dolni Radslavice in the west and Kusky in the northwest.

History

The first mention of the village belonging to the reign Meziříčí Brzesye took place in 1371, when it in January this year was attributed by Meziříčí his wife Kateřina as Aussteuergut. Later Březejc got to other owners and so it came to feuds with the Meziříčer rule. 1447 bought in January the Elder Lomnice of the village of George of Krawarn back and closed it again Meziříčí to what Březejc belonged until 1848. Before 1552, the village went out Chlístov located east, later in his place was the forester's house Chlostov and the three Chlostover ponds.

After the abolition of patrimonial Březejc formed in 1850 a part of the community Ruda in the District Commission United Meseritsch. 1882 was the municipality Březejc. After the abolition of Okres Velké Meziříčí the community came to the beginning of 1961 to Okres Zdar nad Sázavou. 1980 Březejc was incorporated into Velké Meziříčí. Since 1992, the community is again.
