The Highway 43 is located in southeastern British Columbia. It branches in Sparwood on the Highway 3, the Crowsnest Highway, in the north and ends after 35 km in Elkford.

Route

On the edge of the community of Sparwood Highway branches off from the Crowsnest Highway north pointing from. This is the easternmost branch of a superior road from the Crowsnest Highway in British Columbia. The highway runs in the valley of the Elk River in a part of the Rocky Mountains, the Kootenay Rockies. In Elkford the highway ends as such, the road leads, however, continue north along the river valley.
