Regional Director strictness:

Also known under the name of Iceland Highway Highway 19A runs to the west of Vancouver Iceland. However, the name should not be confused with the Vancouver domestic Iceland Highway, in which it then is the Highway 19.

Highway 19A is the original route of Highway 19 between Nanaimo and Campbell River, before it was developed as a motorway-like local bypass. The highway consists of two sections; the first section is located at Nanaimo, the second section starts at Parkville and runs along the coast to Campbell River. The highway has a length of 137 km (exclusive of joint route with Highway 19 ).
