Dolní Libochová

Dolni Libochová ( German sub Libochau ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. Lies 14 kilometers northeast of Velké Meziříčí and belongs to Okres Zdar nad Sázavou.

Geography

Dolni Libochová located in the belonging to the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands Highlands Křižanovská ( Krischanauer Bergland ) in the valley of the brook Libochovka at the confluence of Cejpek. The town lies on the banks of the Dolnolibochovský rybnik ( Libochauer Big Pond), west of the village is the Velky Navratil ( Small Libochauer pond). To the north rises the Libochová ( 529 m), in the south of Křiblík ( 582 m ) and southwest of Vinohrádek (560 m). In the north, the forest area Černý les extends.

Neighboring towns are Radkovičky, Jehnice, Kouty and Strážek in the north, Nový Dvůr and Krčma in the northeast, Meziboří and Borky in the east, Vratislávka and Radňoves the southeast, Nová Ves in the south, Bojanovský the southwest, Horni Libochová in the west and Radkov in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of the village was in 1350 when Jan the Elder of Meziříčís widow Perchta the place of their daughter Kateřina left of Osové. January D. J. of Meziříčí acquired the goods back in 1366 and beat them to his rule Křižanov. At times George of Podiebrad Jan von Pernštejna received the dominions Bystřice and Křižanov. At the end of the 15th century the Great Libochauer pond was created. 1560 bought Zdenko Lhotský Ptení of the village and joined it to the reign Moravec. In the village there was a Erbgericht, which was sold to Jan Rychtář in 1600. In Libochov there were a magnificent courtyard and a mill and a sawmill. 1845 was a schoolhouse.

After the abolition of patrimonial Libochov formed in 1850 a municipality in the district Nove Mesto. Since the end of the 19th century, the place is called Dolni Libochová. 1950 Dolni Libochová the Okres Bystřice nad Perštejnem and with the beginning of 1961 was assigned to the Okres Zdar nad Sázavou. Between 1961 and 1992 Bojanovský belonged to a district Dolni Libochová, after which the place was umgemeindet after Křižanov.
