Edvard Hambro

Edvard Hambro ( born August 22, 1911 in Christiania, † February 1, 1977 ) was a Norwegian politician and diplomat.

Life

Edvard Hambro joined in 1934 his law studies at the University of Oslo in 1936 and made his PhD in political science from the University of Geneva.

Policy

From 1961 to 1969 sat Hambro, who belonged to the Conservative Party Høyre, for mountains in the Storting. He ran on 15 September 1970, the 25th session of the General Assembly of the United Nations; at that time he represented his country as ambassador to the UN. Between 1976 and 1977 he served then as the Norwegian ambassador in Paris.
