Fredenbeck
Fred Beck ( Low German Freenbeek ) is a municipality in the district of Stade in Lower Saxony, consisting of the villages of Fred Beck, swingarm and fronds. She is a member municipality of the velvet municipality Fred Beck.

Geographical Location
Fred Beck is between Hamburg and Bremen on the Stader Geest. The region is rural. About the main compounds of the B73 and B74 from Hamburg and from Bremerhaven on the L123 and L124 leads the way in the Schwingetal with massive forests and bogs. The rocker and numerous streams with their meadow valleys run deep in the ground.
History

On 1 July 1972, the new church Fred Beck was formed from the Towns Great Fred Beck, Small Fred Beck, swingarm and fronds.
Population Development
The data from 1961 and 1970 refer to the then independent municipalities. For information on Fred Beck the population of the municipalities or districts are added. A municipality Fred Beck did not exist before the municipal reform.
On 31 December 2011, the municipality had 5769 inhabitants.

Parish council
In the local elections on 11 September 2011, the CDU lost its majority in the municipal council. The SPD suffered slight losses at the polls. The Greens were able to post slight gains compared to 2006. The first is encountered CDU Community - Pro citizens could move with three members in the Council.

Religions
In Fred Beck is the built in 1960/61, Evangelical Lutheran Martin Luther Church, it belongs to the parish of Buxtehude.
In 1967 the Catholic St. Luke's Church was built in 2003 was their profanation. Most recently, she was part of the parish of the Holy Spirit in Stade. The church was demolished in 2004, today it is reminiscent of a commemorative plaque. On the plot flats were built. Today, the nearest Catholic churches are each about 12 km in Harsefeld and Stade.
