Garmin Sharp

Garmin - Barracuda Sharp (official name according to UCI Regulations Garmin Sharp, formerly Garmin - Barracuda, Garmin - Cervélo, Garmin -Transitions, Garmin - Slipstream, Garmin -Slipstream, Slipstream - Chipotle, TIAA -CREF and 5280/Subaru ) is a American cycling team based in Boulder.

Organization

TIAA -CREF since 2005 was initially a Continental team, which participated mainly on the UCI America Tour. For the 2007 season the team was renamed the Slipstream Chipotle and ran a license as a Professional Continental team. Shortly before the start of the Tour de France in June 2008, was presented with the U.S. manufacturer of GPS receivers Garmin, a new sponsor. From there the team under the name of Garmin - Slipstream presented by H3O started. As of the 2009 season, the team went with a ProTeam license at the start. For the 2011 season the former Garmin - Transitions team with the Cervélo TestTeam merged for Team Garmin - Cervélo. In 2012, the team is called after adding Kicking IT security firm Barracuda Networks as a new title sponsor Garmin - Barracuda. The previous title sponsor Cervélo will continue to provide the team with wheels.

The team is operated by the U.S. company Slipstream Sports.
