Interstate 35 (abbreviated I-35 ) is an Interstate Highway in the United States, runs in a north -south direction. It starts at Laredo, Texas on the border with Mexico and ends in Duluth, Minnesota at the Minnesota State Route 61, which runs along the Lake Superior on the Canadian border. In Texas and Minnesota, there are a few miles for each two separate I-35, then called the I- 35E or I-35W.

Interstate 35 does not bind directly to border crossings. The southern end of I-35 is a traffic light in Laredo, Texas. Travelers heading south use one of two toll bridges over the Rio Grande, either the Juarez - Lincoln International Bridge or the Gateway to the Americas International Bridge. South of these bridges begins in Nuevo Laredo, the Panamericana; in her honor wearing a part of I-35 in San Antonio the name Pan Am Expressway. In the north, I- 35 to the limit by the Minnesota Highway 61 to Grand Portage, on U.S. Highway 53 to the border crossing International Falls or through the Minnesota Highway 33 connected in Cloquet.
