Klippitztörl Pass

The Klippitztörl called a village, a mountain pass and a ski area on the Saualpe in Carinthia.

The village belongs to the municipality of Wolfsberg. The main road via the Klippitztörl connects the district of Wolfsberg with the district of St. Vitus. The 28- kilometer pass road branches south of Bad St. Leonhard of the Obdacher Straße (B 78) to the west and leads through the peak Klippitztörl in 1642 m above sea level and the resort Lölling - Graben to Görtschitztal -Straße ( B 92 ) south of the mountain hut.

Ski resort

The skiing on the pass has several lifts and slopes on the Hohenwart (1818 m). Along the mountain road mountain chalets, cottages and hotels are offered for overnight stay.

Summer tourism

In summer, the Klippitztörl offers an extensive network of hiking trails with many mountain huts and restaurants. As a special attraction, a summer toboggan run and as of June 2011, a ropes course apply.
