Krasae Sin District
Amphoe Krasae Sin ( Thai: อำเภอ กระแส สิน ธุ์ ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the north of the province of Songkhla. The Songkhla province in Southern Thailand is located on the coast of the Gulf of Thailand.
Geography
Neighboring districts and territories ( from the south clockwise): Amphoe Phra Sathing in the province of Songkhla, Amphoe Pak Phayun, Bang Kaeo, Khao Chaison and Mueang Phatthalung Province Phatthalung and Songkhla in Amphoe Ranot again.
The western part of the district are the banks of the Thale Luang and Thale Noi, the northern part of the Songkhla Lake.
History
On February 16, 1978 Krasae Sin first as a sub-district ( King Amphoe ) was established by three Tambon Choeng Sae, Ko Yai and Rong were separated from Amphoe Ranot. On July 4, 1994 Krasae Sin has been promoted to Amphoe.
Management
Amphoe Krasae Sin is divided into four subdistricts ( tambon), which continued in 22 village communities ( Muban ) are divided.
There are also four " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations) in the district.
