Křoví

Krovi ( German Krzowy 1940-1945 Krowin ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located three kilometers north-east of Velka Bites and belongs to Okres Zdar nad Sázavou.

Geography

The street village Krovi extends Krischanauer Bergland ( Křižanovská Highlands ) in the south of the Czech-Moravian Highlands in the valley of a left tributary to the Bily Potok. The village is surrounded by the wooded areas of the Debliner forest, Czerwena forest and Radostiner forest. Southwest of the Bítešská horka rises (491 m), at their root ends the Bítýška in the Bily Potok.

Neighboring towns are Křižínkov in the north, Panov in the northeast, Svatoslav in the east, Rýglovský Mlýn, Spálený Mlýn, Panovsky Mlýn and Radoškov to the southeast, and Přibyslavice Otmarov in the south, Velka Bites in the southwest and Radostínský Mlýn, Vlkov and Březské in the northwest.

History

The village was founded at the beginning of the 13th century during the German colonization of the area of Heynrichs under Margrave Vladislav Henry and originally later called Dietrichsdorf than Krzowe. The first written mention of the village belonging to the reign Meziříčí Krzowe took place in 1371 in the wake of its sale by Jan von Meziříčí to Vojslav of Křižínkov. After further changes of ownership Pernštejnové acquired in the 15th century the village. In 1618 the town was connected to the rule Jinošov. 1629 acquired Albrecht of Wallenstein the goods. Later the village was connected to the rule Náměšt. Since the 18th century, several iron shafts were operated by Krzowy.

After the abolition of patrimonial Krzowy formed in 1850 a district of the city Velka Bites in the District team Velké Meziříčí. Was established in 1867, the community Krovi. Between 1870 and 1885, broken down in the break on the Bítešská horka graphite and limonite. In 1900, 575 people lived in the 72 houses of the village. 1930 had 503 inhabitants Krovi and consisted of 120 houses.

In 1949 the congregation to Okres Velka Bites, and at the beginning of the year 1961, she was assigned to the Okres Zdar nad Sázavou. Between 1981 and 1990 Krovi was incorporated to Velka Bites. In 1990, the congregation arose again. It consists of 209 homes.
