Lago dei Cavagnöö

The Lago dei Cavagnöö is a reservoir in the canton of Ticino in the community Cevio.

The reservoir is accessed by the Maggia Valley to the village of Bignasco. From there, you drive northwest to the town of San Carlo. A cable car climbs from that location the 900 meters to the Lago di Robiei. Once again, 450 meters higher is the reservoir Lago dei Cavagnöö. Quite close to him are still several other small mountain lakes.

History

The dam was completed in 1968 Cavagnoli.
