Lat Krabang District
Lat Krabang ( Thai: ลาดกระบัง ) is one of the 50 districts (Khet ) in the eastern suburb of Bangkok, capital of Thailand.
Geography
The neighboring districts are from clockwise from the north: Bang Bo, Bang Sao Thong and Bang Phli ( Samut Prakan ), Prawet, Saphan Sung, Min Buri and Nong Chok (Bangkok ) and Mueang Chachoengsao ( Chachoengsao Province ). Lat Krabang includes a rural environment.
History
Thailand's new international Suvarnabhumi International Airport is located in the neighboring district Bang Phli province ( Changwat ) Samut Prakan. The Government therefore intends to Amphoe Bang Phli Bang Sao Thong with the ( also Samut Prakan province ) together with the Bangkok Prawet Khet Lat Krabang and a new province of Nakhon Suvarnabhumi.

The council of the district of Lat Krabang has seven members, each member shall be elected for four years. The last election was held on 30 April 2006 the results. :
