Lena Philipsson

Lena Philipsson (actually Mary Magdalene Filipsson, also known as Lena Ph or Lena PH; born January 19, 1966 in Vetlanda ) is a Swedish pop singer.

Your first big success came in 1986 with whom she came in second place at the Melodi - festivals with the song Kärleken är evig. Other successful songs like Dansa i neon (1987) and Om cent (1988 ) followed. Other hits was Talking in your Sleep ( 1988), Why ( 1989) and Stjärnorna (1995). In 2004 she won the Swedish Melodifestivalen with the song Det gör ont, she then lectured in English under the title It Hurts the Euro Vision Song Contest in Istanbul. The Swedish version was for weeks at number 1 on the Swedish charts. For the ESC, it reached 6th place. 2006 Lena moderated Philipsson the Swedish ESC preliminary round, in which, among other things, the winner of 1991, Carola, Sweden's latest pop princess Linda Bengtzing, as well as the internationally famous pop group Rednex participated.
