Maharajganj district

The district Maharajganj (Hindi: महाराजगंज जिला, also Mahrajganj ) is a district of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Administrative center is the eponymous town of Maharajganj.

Geography

The district Maharajganj is located in northeastern Uttar Pradesh on the border with Nepal and belongs to Gorakhpur Division. Neighboring districts are Kushinagar in the east, Gorakhpur in the south and Siddharthnagar in the West. In the north of the state border with Nepal.
