Matt Read

Matthew Zachary Jarrett Read ( born June 14, 1986 in Ilderton, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is since 2011 when the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League contract.

Career

Read Matt began his career as a hockey player with the Milton Icehawks, for which he was active in the Canadian Junior Football League Ontario Junior Hockey League in the season 2005/ 06. He spent the following season with the Des Moines Buccaneers in the U.S. Development League United States Hockey League. Then he attended for four years Bemidji State University, for their hockey team he played in parallel in the National Collegiate Athletic Association. With his university team, he first attended three years at the gaming operations of the College Hockey America, whose championship he won with the Bemdiji State University, 2010. He was elected in 2009 and 2010 in the first All -Star team, the CHA, named Rookie of the Year and 2010 Player of the Year 2008. After the men's championship, the CHA had been dissolved, Read appeared in the 2010/11 season with his university team in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association.

The season 2010/11 ended the Center for the Adirondack Phantoms of the American Hockey League. By the end of the season, he scored seven goals in eleven games and six assists for the Phantoms. For the 2011/12 season he was promoted to the cadre of Adirondack 's cooperation partners Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League. For the Flyers, he was able to prevail at first as a regular in the NHL.
