The MetLife Stadium is a football stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, United States. It serves as the venue for home games of the New York Giants and the New York Jets and replaced the torn, directly adjacent Giants Stadium since 2010. The stadium has a capacity of 82,500, the third largest stadium in the NFL.
History
The building of MetLife Stadium began in September 2007, it was opened in April 2010, the stadium façade can be illuminated according to the event with different colors -. Blue for the Giants, green for the Jets, red and white for a concert for other events. The technique was first used in the Allianz Arena in Munich.
