Miketz

Mikez (also Miketz or Mikkez; Hebrew מִקֵּץ, "At the end [ two full years ] " ) refers to the Torah portion ( parasha or sidra called ) of the Torah from the first book of Genesis Chapter 41.1 to 44.17.

It is the Sidra of the fourth Sabbath of the month of Kislev or the first Sabbath of the month of Tevet.

The dream of Pharaoh

Two years after Joseph was the chief cupbearer interpreted his dream, Pharaoh plague the two very similar dreams:

In the first dream he stands on the Nile and seven lean and seven fat cows climb out of it. Then the seven lean cows eating the seven fat. In the second dream appear seven good and seven bad ears. The seven poor devour the good.

Famine

After seven fruitful years had passed, begin seven years of drought.
