Moravecké Pavlovice

Moravecké Pavlovice ( German Morawetz Pawlowitz, also Morawetz Paulowitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is eleven kilometers south of Bystřice nad Perštejnem and belongs to Okres Zdar nad Sázavou.

Geography

Moravecké Pavlovice is on the left across the valley Bobruvka in the source well in a small stream in the Bohemian- Moravian Highlands. To the northeast, the Kravi hora rises (611 m).

Neighboring towns are Střítež in the north, boron and Sejrek in the northeast, Olší ​​in the east, in the southeast Drahonín, Víckov in the south, Moravecké Janovice and Meziboří the southwest, Krčma, Nový Dvůr Habří and Lopaty in the west and Nivy in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of the village took place in 1350. Pavlovičky lay in the borders of the dominions Pernštejna and Moravec to the goods of the Porta Coeli, who met on the kámen Berkův. The village belonged to the middle of the 19th century to the reign Moravec Mitrov. In Bobrůvkatal was below Pavlovičky an iron hammer. 1834 was the village of 12 houses and had 105 inhabitants. After the abolition of patrimonial Pavlovice / Pawlowitz formed in 1850 a municipality in the district Nove Mesto. From 1880 the town was called Moravské Pavlovice, since the end of the 19th century he is called Moravecké Pavlovice. The village consisted of 22 houses in 1900 and had 124 inhabitants who lived by agriculture. After that, the population steadily declined due to emigration.
