Osová Bítýška

Osová Bítýška ( German Ossowa Bittischka ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located six kilometers north-west of Velka Bites and belongs to Okres Zdar nad Sázavou.

Geography

Osová Bítýška located in Krischanauer Bergland ( Křižanovská Highlands ) in the south of the Bohemian- Moravian Highlands. The place is located opposite the Záblatí on the left bank of the Bítýška. South-east rises the Duforty ( Düfort, 561 m). By Osová Bítýška leads the state road 37 between Křižanov and Velka Bites. North of the village, the railway line runs from Brno to Zdar nad Sázavou.

Neighboring towns are Skřinářov in the north, Ondrušky and Březí in the northeast, Osová and Vlkov in the east, Velka Bites, Kevlický Dvůr and Nové Sady in the southeast, Záblatí in the south, Křeptovský Dvůr the southwest, Ruda in the west and Tři Dvory and Ořechov in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of the castle belonging to the Vitis Osové village took place in 1264. The parish in Vitis was under the Coming of the German Order of Knights in Opava, the first pastor in 1266 Kuno Zbraslav handed.

In 1349 Vitis was mentioned as a town. 1364 the place as Bytesska bzw.Malá Bythezka, 1458 as Osowska Bytesska and then as Ossova Biteschka was called. Until 1848 Osová Bítýška always remained subservient to the rule Osové.

After the abolition of patrimonial Osová Bytyška formed in 1850 with the districts Osové, Záblatí, Vlkov and Skřinářov a municipality in the district team Velké Meziříčí. 1867 Záblatí was, from 1874 and 1884 also Vlkov Skřinářov for independent communities. In 1869 lived in Osová Bítýška 701 people Osové had 82 inhabitants. The population of Osová Bítýška had increased in 1900 to 715, and that of Osové to 102 in 1924 received the district Osové the name Osová. At the beginning of 1961, the municipality was assigned to the Okres Zdar nad Sázavou. Between 1973 and 1990 Záblatí was incorporated. Since 1992, the community is again.

Community structure

The municipality consists of the villages Osová Bítýška Osová ( Ossowa ) and Osová Bítýška ( Ossowa Bittischka ) and the monolayer Tři Dvory ( Dreihof ).

Attractions

  • Castle Osová in Osová, the castle was built at the end of the 17th century in place of a proven since 1348 and spent 1638 Wasserburg. It is located on the banks of the pond Okolník. To the west of the castle lies the 1835 -based castle park. The castle is currently not accessible.
  • Gallery Sýpka, which consists in an undertaking situated between Osová Bítýška and baroque Osová the lock memory Osová from 1669 established gallery since 1990 and is open from May to September.
  • James the Greater Church increased in Osová Bítýška, the late-Gothic building from the second half of the 13th century, was originally in the middle of the 17th century and remodeled Baroque.
