PoÄÃtky
Počítky ( German Potschitek, also Potcitek ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located about four kilometers northeast of Zdar nad Sázavou and belongs to Okres Zdar nad Sázavou.
Geography
Počítky is located in the south of Saarer mountains in the valley of the brook Pernicka. The Moravian town is located south of the historic border with Bohemia, the creek ran along the Sázava and Lamperský. North-east rises the Kříbek (709 m), in the south the Zlata horka (640 m), the Zelena hora southwest (611 m) and the Černý les ( 648 m).
Neighboring towns are Čvrtě in the north, Sklené, Fousek and Tři Studně in the northeast, Vlachovice and Lhotka in the east, Radňovice the southeast, Plíčky and Mělkovice in the south, Vysoke the southwest, Pohod, Lyra and Hynkvec in the west and Výpustek, Stržanov, Pod strži and Světnov in the northwest.
History
The village was founded in the second half of the 14th century. The first written mention of the Cistercian monastery associated Saar village took place in 1407 in the land register as Saarer Počátky. The Erbrichteramt have held members of a Lokatorenfamilie. In the cholera epidemic of 1832 45 inhabitants died.
After the abolition of patrimonial Počítky formed in 1850 a municipality in the administrative district of Nove Mesto. 1949 Počítky was assigned to the Okres Zdar nad Sázavou. In 1961, the incorporation of Vysoke and 1980-1992 Počítky was a district of Zdar nad Sázavou.

Attractions
- Pilgrimage Church of Sts. John of Nepomuk, Zelena Hora on the southwest of the village, built in 1719-1722 according to plans by Johann Blasius Santini Aichl
- Chapel on the village square built around 1870 instead of a bell tower. In 1998 the chapel was renovated.
- Stone cross at the chapel, built in 1834
- Two stone crosses of 1889 and 1919 at the exit after Sklené
- Natural Monument Louka u lesa Černého, wet meadows at the Sázava, west of the town.
