President of the United Nations General Assembly

The President of the General Assembly of the United Nations is an office, which is awarded annually by the General Assembly. The Assembly session usually begins in September of each year; even in special or emergency sessions of the committee, the President shall preside.

Since they take place in the United Nations General Assembly building in New York City.
