Rajeev Ram

Rajeev Ram ( born March 18, 1984 in Denver, Colorado) is an American tennis player who has been particularly successful in doubles.

Career

Ram won nine titles in his youth and played at the High School of Carmel, Indiana Tennis. At the U.S. Open in 2001, he received a wild card for the junior tournament. In 2002 he reached the doubles with his partner Brian Baker the final of the junior tournament at Wimbledon.

His first Grand Slam singles tournament played Ram 2005 at the U.S. Open, but was eliminated by Stanislas Wawrinka Swiss. A year later he defeated his compatriot Amer Delić. In 2007 he reached the tournament in Wimbledon double the quarter-finals with his partner Harel Levy, however, was eliminated by the eventual champions Arnaud Clément and Michaël Llodra.

His first individual title won at Ram Challengerturnier in Winnetka. In 2009, he won the tournament in Chennai, India with his partner Eric Butorac his first doubles title at the ATP Tour.
