Republic of China at the 1956 Summer Olympics
The Republic of China took part in the Summer Olympic Games 1956 in Melbourne, Australia with a delegation of 20 athletes (all men) in 13 competitions in five sports part. There were no medals to be won. The youngest athlete was the weightlifting Bu - Ko Beng (19 years and 125 days), the oldest athlete was the Boxer Shih- Chuan Lee (24 years and 350 days). It was the first participation of the country in the Olympic Summer Games.
