Rozseč (Žďár nad Sázavou District)

Rozseč ( German Ross Adige ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located eight kilometers north of Velka Bites and belongs to Okres Zdar nad Sázavou.

Geography

Rozseč located in the belonging to the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands Highlands Křižanovská ( Krischanauer Bergland ) in the valley of a right tributary to the Halda. To the south rises the Horka (551 m) and west of the Maly Kamenný vrch ( 592 m). Northeast of the village lies the Stauweiher Cihelna.

Neighboring towns are Vidonín in the north, and Vratislávka Žďárec in the northeast, Rojetín in the east, in the southeast Borovník, Březí in the south, and Ondrušky Skřinářov the southwest, Rohy in the west and Milešín in the northwest.

History

Was first mentioned the village in 1346. Until the 15th century it was the seat of Vladiken of Rozseč. Bedřich Rozseč sold by 1352 half of his farm to Mikuláš of Rožínka. This proportion reached then to Jan of Lomnice, he handed it to 1356 Ondřej Dunajov on. Owner of the entire material was 1451 Ondřej Březí, followed him to the end of the 15th century January Osvitín of Rozseč. After 1550, acquired in January of Nová Ves and Radkov possession. Then went out of the village. When Jan Humpolecký Rybenský of 1617 struck the Good Rojetín his reign Ossowa, Rozseč was listed as a new foundation.

Maybe the old village stood at the north of Rozseč located at Na pustým where remains of walls and parts were found an old water pipe. There, in a flood tide also an iron Pike in 1892 flushed out old traditions after a castle on the site should be confessed. Gepfarrt the village was originally by Hermann shock and later came to the parish Březí.

After the abolition of patrimonial Rosec formed in 1850 a part of the community Březí in the District Commission United Meseritsch. At the end of the 19th century the village was umgemeindet after Borovník. Since 1908 Rosec forms its own community, which was named Rozseč 1924. As of 1949, the village belonged to Okres Velka Bites, 1961, she was assigned to the Okres Zdar nad Sázavou.
