Sudan national football team
The Sudanese national football team, nicknamed Sokoor al - Jediane ( Falcons of Jediane ), the Football Selection of Sudan and is subject to the Sudan Football Association. In 1970 she won the African Cup of Nations in 1970, which took place in their own country.

Olympic games
After 1988, the national team has not participated in the Olympics and the qualifying matches to do so. Been an Olympic team could not qualify.
World cup
In qualifying for the World Cup in Brazil, the Sudan could not prevail in the group stage against Ghana, Zambia and Lesotho and had no chance to qualify already on June 7, 2013 following a 1:3 home defeat against Ghana.
