The Greens–European Free Alliance

The Group of the Greens / European Free Alliance (Greens / EFA) is one of the groups in the European Parliament. It is supported by two major European parties, the European Green Party (EGP ) and the regionalist European Free Alliance (EFA ). The group currently has 58 members (as of April 2013), seven of which are part of the EFA- subgroup. In addition, the Group include two members of the Nordic green - left alliance ( NGLA ) and the two Members of the Swedish Piratpartiet to.

After the EFA emerged significantly weakened for the European elections in 1994, they united with some centrist parties (see European Democratic Party) to the Group of the European Radical Alliance. After the European elections of 1999 also fell this fraction and the Greens EFA and formed the current fraction.

Europe Group GREEN

The Europe group GREEN (also German delegation of the Greens in the European Parliament ), the National Association of the German members of the European Parliament, who were elected on the list of Alliance 90/The Greens in the 2009 European elections to Parliament.
