The Three Sisters (Queensland)

The Three Sisters ( German: The Three Sisters ) denote a small group of islands in the eastern Australian Torres Strait Islander.

The islands are located about 100 km north-east of Iceland Thursday, the main island in the Torres Strait.

Only Sue Iceland ( Warraber ), the middle of the " sisters ", is inhabited. It has a nearly 1,000 -meter-long airstrip for light aircraft.

The island group includes:

1) Bet Iceland and Vin Islet lie on the same 28.7 km ² Riffplattfrom Bet Islet Reef in the west or the east, about 11 km apart.

Administratively, the islands of the Central Islands, an island region in the municipality of Torres Shire of Queensland.
