Trochus Island

Trochus Iceland is an uninhabited Australian island in the far south of the archipelago of the Torres Strait Islands. It is located a few hundred meters off the east coast of Cape York Peninsula in the Bay Newcastle in at the mouth of the Middle River. 1.3 km east lies Turtle Head Iceland.

Trochus Iceland is densely covered and fringed by a reef.

Administratively, the island is one of the Inner Islands, an island region in the municipality of Torres Shire of Queensland.
