Full Ting is a town in Norway and capital of a commune of the same name.

Geography and transport

Ting is in full Fylke Møre og Romsdal between the Halsafjord and the Tingvoll Fjord. To the municipality consists of the villages next to Ting full Meisingset and Staumsnes (which from 1866 to 1964 the capital of a commune of the same name was ), as well as some small villages. Overall, the municipality has 3109 inhabitants (as of March 31, 2013 ).

By Ting full results of the national route 70, which connects with Sunndalsøra Kristiansund and Oppdal. In addition, there is a part of the European route 39 in the municipality Tingvoll. It connects with Kristiansund Trondheim, however, is interrupted between Kanestraum and Halsa. There, a ferry across the Halsafjord.

Attractions

  • Ting full Kirke: The Nordmøre also called Cathedral Church of Tingvoll dates from the 12th century.
  • Rock paintings at Hindhammar: About 7 km southeast of Tingvoll, near the road to Ormset, you'll find rock paintings that are supposed to be about 5000 years old.
  • The stone ship by Ting full on the grounds of Best Western Tingvold Park hotels.

Ting full Bygdemuseum

The local museum is located in the village of Ting full. It is designed as a museum village with mill and saw mill, and belongs to the resident in Kristiansund Nordmøre Museum.
