Toledot
Toledot (Hebrew תולדות, " gender " = descendants of Isaac ) denotes a reading portion ( Parasha or Sidra called ) comprises the Torah and the text gene / Bereshit 25.19 to 28.9.
It is the Sidra of the 5th Sabbath in the month Marche swan or the first Sabbath of the month of Kislev.
Gist

- Rebekah sends Jacob to her home to her brother Laban, and justifying this by their aversion to a marriage of Jacob with a Canaanite woman.
- Jacob obtained in this manner again the paternal blessing.
- Esau believes to act on behalf of his father when he marries a daughter of Ishmael additionally.
