Valeri Nichushkin
Valeri Ivanovich Nitschuschkin (Russian Валерий Иванович Ничушкин; * March 4, 1995 in Chelyabinsk ) is a Russian ice hockey player standing since July 2013 with the Dallas Stars in the National Hockey League contract.

Career
Valeri Nitschuschkin was born in the Russian city of Chelyabinsk in the Urals and began his career at the local junior team Belyje Medwedi Chelyabinsk in the Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja League, the highest Russian junior league. In his debut season 2011/12 the 16 -year-old was in 38 games for the team on the ice. In KHL Junior Draft 2012 Nitschuschkin was then selected by the HC Traktor Chelyabinsk in the first round to 11th position.
In the following season Nitschuschkin first played in parallel for his junior team and the HK Tschelmet Chelyabinsk, the farm team of the HC Traktor Chelyabinsk in the Wysschaja Hockey League. In November 2012, he was first appointed to the KHL squad of the tractor and made his debut in the match against Barys Astana. Finally, in the regular season, he came to 18 sessions, scoring six points scorer. After he was elected in January, February and March 2013 three times in a row KHL rookie of the month, he also received the Alexei Cherepanov - Award as the best rookie of the season. In the play-offs to Nitschuschkin became one of the most important players on the team and the team reached the finals of the Gagarin Cup. In 25 games, he scored six goals and nine points.
On May 1, 2013 Nitschuschkin was transferred to HK Dynamo Moscow and had a KHL contract until 2015. NHL Entry Draft in 2013 Nitschuschkin was considered one of the most promising talents. In the NHL Scouting Combine end of May 2013 Nitschuschkin was known to have terminated his contract with Dynamo Moscow and want to play in the 2013/14 season in the National Hockey League. In the NHL Entry Draft in 2013, he was selected tenth of the Dallas Stars, where he signed a three-year entry-level contract in July 2013.
Internationally
Valeri Nitschuschkin represented his native country for the first time in 2012 at the World U -17 Hockey Challenge, where he scored six points scorer in five games. In the same year he was also at the U18 World Youth Championship in the squad of the Russian team, reaching with this fifth place. Also in the following U18 Junior World Championship 2013 Nitschuschkin was part of the Russian team, scoring four goals in seven games and three assists. After losing to Finland in the bronze medal game the team missed but again a medal.
In January 2013 Nitschuschkin was first appointed to the Russian U20 - choice and took this at the Junior World Championship in 2013 in part in their own country. In the match for third place against Canada, he finally achieved in the extension of the decisive goal to win the bronze medal.
