Valeri Nichushkin

Valeri Ivanovich Nitschuschkin (Russian Валерий Иванович Ничушкин; * March 4, 1995 in Chelyabinsk ) is a Russian ice hockey player standing since July 2013 with the Dallas Stars in the National Hockey League contract.

Career

Valeri Nitschuschkin was born in the Russian city of Chelyabinsk in the Urals and began his career at the local junior team Belyje Medwedi Chelyabinsk in the Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja League, the highest Russian junior league. In his debut season 2011/12 the 16 -year-old was in 38 games for the team on the ice. In KHL Junior Draft 2012 Nitschuschkin was then selected by the HC Traktor Chelyabinsk in the first round to 11th position.

In the following season Nitschuschkin first played in parallel for his junior team and the HK Tschelmet Chelyabinsk, the farm team of the HC Traktor Chelyabinsk in the Wysschaja Hockey League. In November 2012, he was first appointed to the KHL squad of the tractor and made ​​his debut in the match against Barys Astana. Internationally

Valeri Nitschuschkin represented his native country for the first time in 2012 at the World U -17 Hockey Challenge, where he scored six points scorer in five games. Also in the following U18 Junior World Championship 2013 Nitschuschkin was part of the Russian team, scoring four goals in seven games and three assists. In January 2013 Nitschuschkin was first appointed to the Russian U20 - choice and took this at the Junior World Championship in 2013 in part in their own country. In the match for third place against Canada, he finally achieved in the extension of the decisive goal to win the bronze medal.
