Velké Tresné

Velké Tresné ( German United Tresna, even large Treszny ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located three kilometers north-west of Olešnice and belongs to Okres Zdar nad Sázavou.

Geography

Velké Tresné located in the Bohemian- Moravian Highlands. The Moravian village is located south of the historic border between Moravia and Bohemia in the valley of the brook Důlní creek. To the northeast lies the valley of the creek Nyklovický, which is shown on a part as a natural monument. In the northeast, the Kopaniny raises the Fouska ( 669 m), to the east the Na Skalce ( 652 m ) in the southeast ( 688 m ) and southwest of Dolni Kopec (611 m).

Neighboring towns are Trpín and Kněževes in the northeast, and Lamberk Veselka in the east, in the southeast Olešnice, Lhota u Olešnice in the south, and Bolesin Malé Tresné the southwest, Rovečné in the west and Nyklovice in the northwest.

History

The village was created in the course of the colonization of the border forests between Moravia and Bohemia. For the first time erwährt documentary was related to the rule Pernštejna place in 1351st In 1590 Velké Tresné, together with eleven other villages in the area connected to the rule Kunstadt to which it belonged until 1848.

After the abolition of patrimonial Velké Trestný formed in 1850 a municipality in the district Boskovice. Since the end of the 19th century, the local name Velké Tresné was used. In 1854, a graphite deposit was discovered by 14 m thickness, their degradation has been addressed by Dominik Stary with simple means in the limestone. Later Vladimír Weypustek bought the mine from Starýs daughter. In 1938 Hubert Weypustek sold the graphite mine at Karel Engliš Jr., the son of the economist Karel Engliš. This restored the dilapidated mining equipment and built a connecting road. In addition, he founded a sawmill.

In 1949 the community was the Okres Bystřice assigned nad Perštejnem. The sawmill in Velké Tresné was decommissioned in the 1950s. With the beginning of 1961 the incorporation took place after Rovečné, at the same time came the village to Okres Zdar nad Sázavou. In 1968 the decommissioning of the graphite mine. In the mining area a company for steel structures, which later became part of the state enterprise Sigma originated. After the re-privatization in 1995, the company trades as Uniman Engliš as Since 1992, the community is again.

After the Second World War, the village gained importance as a resort; Guests were, inter alia, Svatopluk Beneš and Jiří Štuchal. Velké Tresné is in the area of the nature park, built in 1995 Svratecká hornatina.
